DAVID'S STORY |
|
Name: David Dalrymple
University: University of Texas
Hometown: Denton, TX
My Story: I was originally drawn to come on STINT to Greece because of the people that were coming here. I was excited to be a part of a team whose highest priority was relationships. I had already been on a STINT in East Asia and knew that community was important. I was also drawn to Greece by the opportunity to be a part of a pioneering ministry. It has been challenging to pioneer but my ability to trust the Lord has been greatly stretched this year. I can't express the joy of bringing the kingdom to a campus full of lost students, who are mostly distant and uninformed about God, Jesus and the Bible. |

CHRISITNA'S STORY |
|
Name: Christina Kennon
University: University of Texas

My Story: Being a part of the first campus team in Athens has been a privilege and quite a roller coaster of a year! I have been extremely grateful for all of the Greek friends that I have made and talked to about the gospel as well as all of the personal growth I have experienced in my relationship with God. Through planning, trying lots of new things, failing, and going again, the team is really learning that God is at work and that we are just stepping into what he is already doing in the country of Greece. Students are desperate for hope, but are unsure of how this desire can ever be fulfilled. In many ways Greece is ripe for harvest and I hope to always be involved in bringing hope and life through the gospel to this wonderful country. |
